The whole session will be tailored to your specific situation, so it meets your needs and supports your wishes for your breastfeeding journey. ​ Research shows that parents who prepare for breastfeeding often experience fewer challenges, and that babies are more likely to be exclusively breastfed for longer. With this preparation session, you as a family stand stronger and increase your chances of a succesful start to breastfeeding. ​ What we’ll cover together: - The very first days – what to expect and how to support breastfeeding from the beginning - Breastfeeding techniques and positions – ways to prevent soreness and ensure a good latch - Early feeding cues – so you can recognize your baby’s needs before the crying starts - Typical challenges – and how to approach them calmly and effectively ​ You will also receive: - A concise handout (PDF) with the most important knowledge gathered for you - A short written plan tailored to your family after the session - 30 minutes of follow-up support (phone or online) within 14 days after birth – quick guidance when new questions arise
